George Abdelnour

George is Professor of the Humanities at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut. He has held many other teach positions at universities and colleges in the United States and the Middle East, including Williams College, Williamstown, Massachusetts, University of Balamand, Lebanon, and Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut. He has a Ph.D. in Spanish from Yale University. He is also a former ADC intern.

Muhamed Almaliky

Muhamed is a Physician from southern Iraq and an MD from Basra University. He did medical specialization work at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He also has a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University and is set to begin a masters program at the Kennedy School of Government also at Harvard University. Muhamed has been active in Iraqi and Iraqi refugee issues since coming to the United States in 1991.

Mary Kate Chaath

Mary Kate is Director of Donor Development for American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA). She has previously served as Fundraising and Accounts Manager for Maysoon's Kids, Program Coordinator for the United Palestinian Appeal, and a Contractor for Advising and Testing at AMIDEAST. She has a BA in International Studies American University and also studied at Bir Zeit University. She is vice-president of ADC's Washington, DC, chapter.

Mohamad Chakaki

Mohamad is an environmental and community development activist who works in both the Gulf and the United States. He has a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) degree from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Mohamad has worked for the United Nations Relief Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, the United Nations Environment Program, and the United States Peace Corps.

Hassan Fawaz

Hassan is President of Financial Partners of TN, an investment and financial planning firm in Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from University of Tennessee with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He has been a Financial Planner for over 9 years. Hassan is also President of the Arab American Club of Knoxville.

Diala Jadallah

Diala is presently doing research at the Institute for Palestine Studies in Washington, DC. She has a BA in Integrative Studies with concentration in International Studies from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She worked in the Women's Studies Research & Resource Center at George Mason, and her area of academic concentration is gender studies. She also served as a Congressional Intern in the office of US Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH).

Jamie Kozisek-Hammad

Jamie worked in the Tampa office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). She is about to begin law school.

Mae Ramadan

Mae is completing a Master of Science ( M.S.) in Global Affairs from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. She has a BA in Political Science also from Rutgers. She is President of the Palestinian American Congress (PAC) New Jersey Chapter, and was founder and president of the Palestinian American Organization at Rutgers.

Mahasin Saleh

Mahasin is Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, School of Social Work. She has done scholarly research at numerous academic institutions and has several publications in peer-reviewed journals in her area of research. She has been active in local ADC chapters and with the Arab American Student Association at the University of Houston. She has a Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Houston, Graduate College of Social Work.
